Bloc Medical
Advanced electrostatic dissipative apparel engineered to safeguard critical manufacturing processes.
Genoa, capital of the Liguria region in Italy, is historically recognized for its maritime ports, yet it has rapidly transformed into one of Southern Europe's primary high-tech, aerospace, and biomedical hubs. Driven by institutions like the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and major aerospace/defense players such as Leonardo S.p.A., local manufacturing processes demand pristine environments completely free from static electricity and airborne microparticles.
In coastal zones like Genoa, salinity and shifting relative humidity pose unique challenges to electrostatic charge dissipation. When relative humidity levels fluctuate near maritime channels, traditional anti-static fabrics can fail. Our advanced ESD garments, woven with high-density carbon-conductive grid threads (up to 5mm and 2.5mm configurations), guarantee continuous decay of charges. This prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD) from damaging sensitive microchips, sonar instrumentation, radar components, and biological matrices during production and testing.
Woven technology designed to optimize particulate filtration and charge attenuation.
Our fabrics exhibit a surface resistance of 105 Ω to 109 Ω in compliance with EN 61340-5-1. Conductive carbon-composite fibers release static charges safely through corona discharge and conduction, mitigating triboelectric buildup.
Specifically engineered for ISO Class 3 (Class 1) through ISO Class 8 cleanrooms. The lint-free polyester base fabric prevents human hair, skin flakes, and synthetic microfibers from escaping into clean space atmospheres.
Engineered to survive over 100 industrial washing cycles without degradation of anti-static properties. Conductive carbon lines are embedded inside the warp and weft yarns, protecting them from mechanical abrasion.

Keeping pace with next-generation manufacturing demands and ecological directives.
Moving beyond standard carbon-core filaments, we are testing graphene-alloy integration. This creates lighter, highly flexible fabrics with improved ESD retention characteristics, preventing the microscopic cracking of conductive pathways over hundreds of wash cycles.
Developing specific anti-static clothing compatible with European ATEX directives for operations at LNG terminals and refineries, such as those present at the Port of Genoa. These garments eliminate spark risk in volatile explosive gas mixtures.
Aligning with global ESG guidelines and European eco-design regulations, our research team is engineering fully recyclable cleanroom ESD coats and jumpsuits without losing carbon conductive grid efficiency during reprocessing.
Heavy-duty, low-charging cleanroom garments designed for intensive industrial applications.
When purchasing anti-static equipment for Ligurian logistics or high-tech cleanrooms, meeting European Union directives is crucial. All cleanroom apparel supplied by Hubei Bloc is designed, manufactured, and checked against high-tier validation checklists:
Whether you run an assembly workshop in the Genoa metropolitan area, conduct biochemical sequencing, or operate heavy maritime control units, our logistics network provides fast delivery and compliance certifications directly to your shipping destination.
Our standard operating procedure for customized orders includes:
Technical guidance regarding safety metrics, wear longevity, and cleanroom maintenance.
The difference lies in the level of ESD control. Stripe patterns feature conductive carbon yarns running vertically in one direction, suitable for basic ESD environments. Grid patterns (5mm x 5mm or 2.5mm x 2.5mm) weave conductive carbon yarns in both directions. This forms an active Faraday cage grid, delivering faster static dissipation and lower charge generation. Grids are required for high-sensitivity microelectronics and advanced cleanrooms.
To preserve the conductive carbon filaments, ESD garments must be washed with non-ionic detergents in deionized water. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and strong alkalis, as they erode the carbon core. Cleanrooms typically wash these garments at low to moderate temperatures (under 40°C or 104°F) and tumble dry them at low heat (under 60°C).
